For this MFOACSODP, I examine the musings of a young lady who has a little bit of trouble expressing herself. She’s 23, new to the area, and looking for that special someone to fill the void in her jaded heart. To get an idea of the struggles she’s enduring, I’ll let you read her entire profile—none of which has been changed or altered in any way—and meet you back on the other side.

About Me
I search for the person. The the man with which it is possible to talk on different themes. To talk about it about me. That to us it was not boring together. Understood one another with a floor of a word. I wish to find such person which understood me and was careful. I want will find the person which is devoted to me and did not change to me with other women. Did not say lies to me and spoke only openly in all sincerity. I wish to find the person with opened by feelings., which will not hide the feelings. I wish to find the person who knows the purpose in a life and will aspire to it that it to carry out. To me it is necessary the man which is self-assured. If I have liked you also you to wish to learn more about me that I wait for you. Write the e mail? I look and write to you.
And now, some observations:
1. Besides the spelling accuracy, this sounds like something Charlie from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” would write.
2. I don’t know about you but I was hooked after the first line in the “About Me” section. “I search for the person.” Sounds so deep and heartfelt. This girl isn’t messing around. She wants to find the man with which it’s possible to talk on different themes.
3. The most cryptic line of the profile is this one: “Understood one another with a floor of a word.” What does it mean?!? I feel like she’s trying to tell us something very important. Either that or she made a typo on Google Translate.
4. English infinitives are a motherfucker.
5. It’s interesting that the past tense shows up in her writings. Unless she wants to talk about a crazy ex-boyfriend or the time she was rendered barren by a horse’s kick to the fallopian tubes, it’s quite unnecessary to delve into the past, in any language.
6. I kind of feel bad for her. She’s just an immigrant trying to find love.
7. On the other hand I bet she got more messages than I ever would.
8. “To me it is necessary the man which is self-assured.” I guess all girl—foreign or native born, Downsy or college-educated—are looking for assholes.
The morals of this episode are easily identified:
Online translators suck.
So if you’re a young Russian coed looking to explore the masculine population in the nearest American city and perhaps snatch one of those green cards in the process, take the extra 20 minutes and have your online dating profile read by a person who speaks English. Avoid the embarrassment of looking like an Asperger’s patient and maybe, just maybe, find the the man of that when you dream.

This sounds nothing like charlie. Likes: ghouls. Dislikes: people’s knees.
I just saw a girl’s ad on craigslist and she describes herself as “single, fisty”… um.. yeah, I’d always hoped to meet a “fisty” girl.. I mean provided she had very small hands of course.
