Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know – there’s no Third One.
And we can’t find the First One either. If the other zillion aren’t enough, take it up with Mick.

WHERE IS THE K7?
Haha.
New show, new intro.
Hey Paul, Mick,
Excellent first show! I really enjoyed the format you have, the discussions, musical breaks and interview. It’s a great way to introduce people to new bands also hear your thoughts and opinions in another medium besides writing. I look forward to future installments of the Thawmap!
Danny
dgibbs2 -
Thanks ever so much. Stay tuned – we hope to do one every two weeks.
Just hit play, but I have to ask:
“Did you take my note about the ending?
- Some of it.
Does he still die?
- Yeah.
Then you didn’t take my note. Boys, make sure you come home right after school.
- Why?
We’re having a family conference.”
John – I’ll be right there.
Also, damn you and your obscure S&TW reference.
Paul- Perhaps this makes me immature, but, “My…rectum hurts,” made me laugh really hard.
no matt is not poetic. matt hates poetry.
also, don’t try to comment while you’re listening, it stops the podcast.
that Marcy Playground song was incredible, fertilize eggs HAHA
And the award for gayest thing ever said on a podcast goes to………..PAUL SHIRLEY for this gem: “I actually get chills when I have a good conversation.”
Seriously Paul, 126 minutes of just the audio from gay gangbang porn film would be less gay than that comment.
But I think the podcast, as a whole, was great. Keep up the strong work!
Paul,
Is there any chance that you can publish the playlists for these podcasts? At the moment I am trying to write down bands, songs etc as you mention them but this is not always possible as I am usually listening at work.
Really enjoy the site and the podcast.
James
James – I’ll work on it.
love the idea and the podcasts so far…
what about a dialogue about reviews of new albums or new music that’s been in the itunes rotation? full albums perhaps?
GREAT format. great site, really digging this whole thing. glad i followed you over here from espn paul.
adelsig – I’ll see what I can come up with. Thanks for listening; glad you’re liking what we’re doing so far.
Mick PWNED Paul in Trivial Pursuit!!! and because it’s one of the few arenas where I’ve above average Genus is what I use to judge overall total worth.
I would have said Hastings was the first battle that used gunpowder, oh the shame.
Paul – Thanks for the Mumford & Sons recommendation, I am really enjoying them!
Mick’s global warming discussion made my brain nauseous
Your playing Free Energy the first time made me look into the band eventually buy Stuck on Nothing, so they owe you for at least one sale. Thanks for that, it’s probably my favorite album so far in a year that’s been loaded with great ones.
If I like what I *hear from an artist or band I will be sure to support them by buying their music.
Love flipcast, listen to it entirely too much than is probably healthy.
Thanks for playing Stereophonics, totally forgot how much I like them
Can we get a playlist for “the ninth one?” Also, in your next podcast Paul, can you discuss how you can financially afford to globe trot across the United States on a whim to any concert you please? Thanks! And keep up the entertaining work!
Walking in the prencsee of giants here. Cool thinking all around!
